1966 Mercury Cyclone

This is one awesome 66 Mercury Comet/Cyclone. The owner is named Bill Vipperman and he bought this car new back in 66. He brought it to us in a fairly rough state. Sheet metal had to be replaced in almost every panel on the car. The 390 was totally rebuilt along with the 4 Speed Toploader. We added a Hurst Shifter at the customers request. We also narrowed the rear springs in 4 inches for a bigger tire and completely sound deadened the interior of this car including the floors, doors, firewall, rear quarters, trunk and top. When we built the motor, Bill wanted roller rockers but wanted to keep the stock valve covers. This was accomplished by adding machined spacers on the heads. Other than these modifications, Bill wanted the car to be as stock as possible. Bill is quited happy with the results of this beautiful Cyclone GT.
